Quick Ways to Make Money - Get Paid to Read Emails

One of the quick ways to make money online is to get paid to read emails. Paid to read (PTR)-programs or websites send emails to their registered members with promotions of services or products. The member read the email, click on a link in the email, stay on the site for a few seconds, and get paid for it. It actually is as simple as that. Advertisers want people to read their ads, surf their websites and try out their products. If they send out tons of emails to get people to do this, they would be accused of spamming and their ISP would shut them down pretty quickly. To avoid this, they will instead pay people that have voluntarily signed up at a Paid to Read-program.
When you sign up to a PTR (Paid to Read)-program, you will have to submit some information about yourself, so they can better target what kind of emails that is suited for you. You will then start to receive emails. To confirm that you have read the email, you have to click on a link. This takes you to a website with various offers. There's no need to buy anything at these websites, but you do have to stay on the website for some time (10-30 seconds). When the time is up, you will be credited. When you have reached a certain amount, you will receive your payment via online payment services such as PayPal.
The average payment for each read email is about $0.01 to $0.03. It is recommended to sign up for several PTR-programs, because just one program will not send you enough emails to make a decent amount of money. You may be able to make $3-$5 an hour if you work consistently.
There are tons of PTR-websites out there and a lot of them are scam, but the big ones such as InboxDollars, Hit4Pay and MyPoints are companies that are safe when you first starting out to get paid to read emails. A good guideline to follow to avoid scams are 'if it's too good to be true - it usually is'. Avoid companies that promise a lot of money per email (like $5 per email you read). Also, make sure it is free to join. You should never have to pay to join a PTR site. An additional thing to check is if the site has contact information such as email address and a phone number.
